this Olongapo Christmas
thousands of miles
away from snow
we hike down through
the holidays happily
that we forget
our friends who did not
bring us gifts
or make us feel special.
But may we never
once forget
the birthday of God’s Son.
Great God give us more
than just our daily bread.
Faith in what we do for you,
hope for every new tomorrow,
love for all things living.
And as we explore into the New Year
let our explorations be done
in Your name only.
Merry Christmas, Father,
and Alleluia too.
I love you as much as I love life and love.

You unlocked the final door.
